MyBones is on a mission to improve bone health awareness, helping thousands to enjoy greater freedom and flexibility with an enhanced quality of life, enabling their global community to take ownership of their physical, emotional, and mental health through education, products, and support. “We want to empower and inspire people to get serious about their bone health.” They approached Hide the Shark to help with a new company name, tailored proposition, and branding to enhance the clarity and understanding of their unique 'Liv MD' product, a device developed to help combat osteoporosis in astronauts.
Having actioned a series of interactive brand discovery meetings alongside research into the customer base, we concluded that the ‘Marodine LIV’ device gave people back their sense of agency and confidence, but the name (LIV = low-intensity vibration’ was confusing.
We created an optimistic proposition that referenced the sense of hope that the device provided to its user base:
My Bones, my health, my future.
A further step integrated the name of the company into the proposition itself. ‘MY BONES’. From here, we created a spine icon to reference the positivity of bone health with cheerful natural colours to appeal to the core user base.
Along with brand roll-out, we designed a clean website that enhanced the brand story, which Appeal Digital developed.
My Bones is now ready to change global health, one bone at a time.
